Course Map [Map]
The race will start in the pool parking lot with approximately 100 yards of asphalt before turning to gravel road then trail. Runners will proceed up CCC Snipe Trail, cross Shrewsberry, and continue up Mossy Rock, both of which are gradual uphills. At this point, you will turn left on to Middle Ridge Road . Turn left on to Middle Ridge Trail, which is a single track that zigzags across Middle Ridge Road . Runners will then drop down Alligator Rock Trail, which is technical and steep in parts, terminating on Shrewsberry Hollow (turn right). This is the first of three aid stations, approximately 5 miles. From here, turn right on Teaberry Rock Trail, this will be the first major climb. Turn right at top onto Middle Ridge Road . Continue to Lindy Trail (0.5 mi), which is a steep, technical downhill (grin factor very high). Aid Station #2 (8 miles) at bottom of trail. Turn right, very short section of gravel, then right again up Polecat Trail. Second major climb. This is a tough climb! At the top of Polecat, there will be an intersection with Ballard Trail, turn left. Another fun downhill – grin factor also very high! You have gone up then down, up then down, and now it is time to go back up again. Turn right on another short section of gravel road turning into a forest road (Hoffman Hollow) for a long, gradual climb – your last of the day. Aid Station #3 (11 miles). At the top of Hoffman, turn right onto Middle Ridge Road and go approximately 2 miles to an intersection with a gas well road on the left. This road (1.5 mi) will take you to White Hollow Trail, another fun downhill, terminating on Davis Creek Trail (right turn), which is basically flat to the long awaited finish!!!!!!!!
