4H Camp Pioneer

Entry fee for the CMMM is $65 if postmarked by 7/13/12 and $80 thereafter until 8/10/12 when registration will be CLOSED. Extra meal tickets are $7. This event is limited to 100. Must be at least 18 years of age. No pacers. No pets. A request for refund of entry fees, minus a $10 fee, will be granted up to August 3, 2012. Please do not ask after this date.
Packets may be picked-up at the 4-H Camp race headquarters between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. race day. There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting for all runners and crew at 8:00 p.m. Race starts at 9:00 p.m.

The time limit to successfully complete the entire course is 13 hours. The majority of the course is very runable. There two cut-off points. The race start is 9:00pm. Runners must reach Aid Station #4 at mile 23.2 by 3:30am and Aid Station #6 at mile 33.3 by 6:00am.

There will be space to spread out a sleeping bag in the Assembly Hall. There are no cots or private sleeping areas. Showers are available.
There is a campground operated by the 4-H offering tent camping for $10, and campers with electric hookups for $20.
There are several motels 8 miles from the camp in Elkins.
Post race snacks will be ready for early finishers starting at 4:00 a.m. A post race breakfast will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the 4-H Camp Dining Hall. The award ceremony will immediately follow. The cost is included for runners and extra tickets may be purchased for $7.
All activities will take place in the Assembly Hall and attached Dining Hall. The building will remain open through night as race headquarters and will be available for crew or early finishers to spread out a sleeping pad. Showers are available.
Crew will be able to access runners at either Aid Station 4/6 mile 23.2/33.3 OR Aid Station #5 mile 27.8, but not both. Written directions and maps may be viewed on the Directions page. There will not be printed copies available on race night so make sure you come prepared. For the safety and consideration of all participants, other aid stations or roads that runners will be on are closed to crew and vehicles.
