“We are sorry to share with you the disappointing news that this year’s event has been cancelled.
We will be offering full refunds to those who’ve registered. Please be patient as refunds will take 10-14 days to process once Run Sign Up receives the refund notifications from us.
This breaks our hearts. We are going to go snuggle the dirty dog that lives with us. We suggest you do the same, and please stay well out there.
–Daniel and Tracey Todd”

Kanawha State Forest | Race and Camping are both located in the park | 46 camp sites |
There will be volunteers guiding you in the parking areas. Please park in the spot that they assign you. We will fill the parting lot closest to the the starting line first, then we will fill the campground overflow lot, and finally we will park on the road side. The forest road is well traveled so if you park on the shoulder you will need to be completely off the road.
There are flush toilets and additional porta-johns near the registration shelter.
We are always looking for volunteers to assist at our races. If you are interested, please read the list of volunteer role descriptions on the Volunteer Page and click below to volunteer at the Dirty Dog 15k!
A portion of the proceeds from this race go to support the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
We would like to thank the following sponsors for assistance in producing this amazing race!
