The 50k starts at the Tasty Blend Factory on Old Rt. 35 near Frasier’s Bottom. Shuttle buses depart the Camp Arrowhead at 5:45 am sharp for the 35 min trip to the start.
The 25k/10k starts on the bridge on Cedar Dr. just off Rt. 60. Shuttle buses depart the Camp Arrowhead at 8:15 am sharp for the 10 min. trip to the start. More information found on the Directions page.
All participants must check-in with the race director Saturday morning before loading the shuttle to the start. There is no shuttle service back to the start after the race. If you have family or crew driving you to the start, please indicate so on the entry form.

A Kids Run will be held on Friday before the race. This event is free, but parents must complete a registration form for their children. Donations are accepted and will be given directly to the charity organization. Registration begins at 5:30 pm. The Kids Run starts at 6:30 pm in front of the dining hall.

There is a time limit of 10 hours to complete the 50k race. More information will be available at the pre-race instruction meeting on Friday before the race at 7:30 pm.

Awards for the 50k and 25k finishers are distributed as they finish. Awards for the 10k finishers are given around 12:00 pm.

Camping is encouraged at the Camp Arrowhead for the race weekend. There is a charge of $10 per tent or vehicle per night . Do not worry about reserving a spot, we will not run out. Please check in and pay on Friday at the camper check in station located near the shelter beside the amphitheater.
A pre-race dinner is held at the Dining Hall and included for all registered participants. Guest tickets may be purchased for $12.50 (kids 5 years and younger are free). A raffle is held during dinner at 7:15 pm. Dinner is followed by the pre-race meeting at 7:30 pm.

Please let the Race Director know if you will arrive late Friday evening or early Saturday morning.
Drop bags for the 50k are collected at the start and will be available at Aid Station #4, about mile 18, at Barkers Ridge. Please label your bag with name and bib number. Bags should not be large. No hard rubbermaid type bins allowed. There will be plenty of standard aid station fare and Hyle Hydration available.
All viewers are welcome at the Start, but please park out of the way of runners and buses. This will be discussed Friday evening at the pre-race meeting. The best place to meet your runner is Aid Stations #4 or #6. Here runners have completed the tougher first half and support will be appreciated. Other locations are available, but are several miles from a major highway. If you have any special needs please let me know.
