I discussed Stewart Caldwell's desire to step down as RD of Canary in the Cave at the last meeting and that he was looking in to different perpetuation options.  It appears that there will be no perpetuation as I have not heard any updates from Stewart since prior to our January meeting.

Stewart wrote to me in an email dated Feb 27, 2020 regarding a participant requesting the race date:

"Is there a way to hide the page so no one can see it, but so it will still be there in case someone else wants to resurrect the race in the future?"

I understood this at the time to mean that he does not intend for the race to continue.

I seem to not have updated the Marlinton Camp & Run Weekend page since the 2018 event. Has that event been canceled/merged into the Annual Meeting at Spruce Knob?

@arhodes5, yes, last year it was decided at the board level to discontinue the Marlinton Camp/Run Weekend.  You can archive it on the webpage if you would like.
