Did we ever discuss the trailer getting broken into? Do we need to do anything about this? I saw Dolin replaced what he needed to on the email, but did we need to do anything going forward to make sure this doesn't become a problem? People are crazy!

We do need to replace the speaker system.  Otherwise, nothing critical is missing and Dolin bought some heavier locks.  We now have it parked at Camp Arrowhead (Boy Scout Camp) where we haven't had an issue.   

Is this something Dolin is taking care of? Do we have an estimated cost? Just want to make sure I don’t need to be doing anything 😃

@laurbeam20 Only thing we need to do is purchase a new speaker.  A cursory search puts that at $300 - $400.

If we need to purchase a new sound system, I’d like to take the lead using Fawley Music in Morgantown. 

What are the items that were taken? Two speakers, two stands, and cables? Anything else. 

@arhodes5 1 large speaker, stand and microphone were taken.  Fawley Music sounds like a great option.  The ability to bluetooth would be nice to have.

@bob-luther When you have a chance, can you tell me the brand/model of the other sound equipment that is still in the trailer? Just the speaker and mic. Or can send a picture of the items to my email. I want to ensure new and old equipment are compatible. 

I move to approve up to $500 for the purchase of a new speaker with blue tooth capabilities, speaker stand, and hand held wireless mic for the southern trailer.

@arhodes5 We don't have any sound equipment after the theft.

Just wanted to add one membership note.  I changed the individual and family annual memberships to be for 12 months instead of yearly.  In RunSignUp, yearly membership needed to have an expiration date, the default of which was December 31.  So if someone signed up for the yearly membership on December 1, they only got one month.  Now if they sign up for a year they should get the full 12 months regardless of when in the year they joined.

@acasseday Yes.  I just went through all of the current annual membership we have and updated their end dates to be 12 months from when they signed up.  I’m going through now to find all the membership which expired on Dec. 31, 2023 which should still be active and updating their information to be active 12 months from when they signed up.

I got all the expired memberships updated.  Now anyone who signed up for a yearly membership as of April 26, 2023 to the present has had their membership dates adjusted to be for 12 months.
