See attached meeting documents from Annual Meeting and BOD Meeting from Spruce Mountain South.   I believe that everyone in attendance had a fine time.  There seems to be a shared consensus that we are on to something good with this venue.  Do we have a consensus to continue for 2020, and if so, do we have any date suggestions?

I've never been there they tell it's nice. I live in hotels. Tear out the walls. I have accountants pay for it all.

I'm in favor of returning the Spruce Mountain. I saw it snowed up there last Thursday so summer time would be better.

@hillbillywill, that's why we pay you the big bucks.  A warrior poet that knows his stuff.

If folks liked it then do it again. Try the same weekend next year. If we schedule it now we are more likely to schedule vacations around it.

We will most likely have to clear dates with the property owners, but we can certainly present suggestions.  The same weekend as last year would be July 24-26.

@acasseday

2020 Annual Meeting at SMS was well attended and would be honored to see it there again if we decide it's best. Pete and I will talk to the other owners.

Sounds like a fine plan.

We should plan dates for sure, but also maybe more than one running time option.  Some families have both parents that run and this year one parent did the group run while the other hung back with the kiddos. Well, if we had a morning and afternoon run with someone willing to lead the way then families with both parents as runners could get a quality run in with others. As opposed to yet another solo run squeezed in between stuff going on.

@asdolin

I think that is something that we can accommodate.  Will you possibly help me/us with the planning?

Sure, but I do not know the trails around the area well. I am thinking we have an earlyish run. Back by 9 or 10 then the second group goes so we can be back by meeting/dinner time. Win-Win for all those who attend. 2 hour runs about and if a single attendee wants to go all out and get boocoo miles they can totally have at it. We are all just looking to enjoy each other's company and catch up on what has happened in the past year. Most of only cross paths at WVMTR events anyway.

"Warrior Poet that knows his stuff".  Made me laugh so that others could hear it.

Comment about the Southern Finishing arch in the minutes.  I don't use it anymore but I'm still in favor of buying a small/medium inflatable arch.  Takes minutes to setup and takes up 25% of the space the current one does.
