Any items of new or old business not addressed by the agenda?

Saw the email between Adam, Matt, Daniel, and Jason. Are we just waiting for the paperwork on approval from the city of Hurricane and then BOD approval to make the March race happen?

@asdolin No, see Item 4.  Jason has submitted his proposal for us to discuss and possibly act upon today.

We should consider putting together some club swag.  But it would be nice to run it through a fulfillment company so we would have to take care of distribution.

@daniel, yes I agree.

I now have a Teams Sales contract with Patagonia.  Much has changed with this process, but the biggest change for us is that we now have a 30% discount instead of 40%.  I plan to do a puffy jacket (down sweater) order in October when I send out the request for BOD nominations.  The one we did for Lehmann turned out nice and I think members would like this new offering.

Thoughts?

@acasseday The down sweater is a great idea.

Adam - What do you think about the down sweater plus something in a lower price range for those not wanting to go that high?

Dan - Are there other items normally in high demand that you were thinking about?

We have a treasure chest of items that we sell at races and unless someone volunteers to man a table at KT it will be a while before people have access to it.  I was thinking we could set up a store to make a hoodie and long sleeve shirt with our logo available.  It would print on demand and we easily could make our profits zero if we want to offer that at the cheapest price.  The vendor just collects their fee and shipping.

But to directly answer your question I think the long sleeve tee from Patagonia is pretty popular.

I started to type this before but didn't want to complicate the ordering, but I think allowing the addition of "Lifetime Member" under the oval is a nice plus to those who have made that investment in the club.

I’ve had a lot of people ask me about gear so I think offering some in any way would appease a lot of people.

I am willing to own the club jacket order this fall.  I also have the smattering of club logo Patagonia short/long sleeve shirts in my basement.  They will be at Helvetia and Trilogy, but if anyone would want to take them to the KT to sell them, that would be fine.

If we would want to do anything else with club schwag, I am supportive, but do not want to take the extra responsibility.
