Item 2: Treasurer's Report:  Motion and second to approve the unaudited report given aby Lauren Beam, WVMTR Treasurer.  PLEASE VOTE

Item 3: Board Officer Election: A motion and second was made to approve the following slate of officers:

Item 4: Trail Sisters Designation: Bob Luther will generate an information sheet and communicate the process with WVMTR race directors. No vote necessary.

Item 5: Club Information Emails: Charlotte Wales presented an idea of a monthly/quarterly informational email sent to club members.  The plan is to put together an email which provides information such as: upcoming events (races and fun events), results from races that just occurred, links to any race reports prepared for a recent WVMTR race/event, etc., maybe a member highlight where we could detail a big accomplishment a member just achieved, and possible a short summary and then a link to the WVMTR website where you can find all the details. The idea received overwhelming support by the BOD. No vote necessary

Item 6: 2023 Meeting Dates and Club Jackets: 

Our 2023 meeting schedule is as follows: 

• 1/19/23 E-meeting 
• 4/20/23 E-meeting 
• 7/21-23 Annual Meeting in Durbin at the Rhodes camp 
• 10/19/23 E-meeting 

We were finally able to execute a club jacket order this past month.  We were thwarted with Patagonia inventory issues last year but were able to order Down Sweaters with a club logo embroidered.  The efforts appear have been well received by membership.

Item 7: Club Banking: Casseday will explore next steps with Huntington Bank to have previous board members removed as signing authority, have additional active board members added, and updated cards issued. No vote necessary.

Item 8: 2023 RRCA Club Member Certificate of Insurance: Casseday presented the update club insurance and educated the BOD about coverage. Andrew Rhodes agreed to take on the task of completing the 2024 RRCA COI. No vote necessary

Item 9: Club Membership: Consensus was reached in discussion to discontinue paper renewal for annual club memberships.  Also, Charlotte Wales will take the role of Membership Chair with the objective to oversee RSU memberships and improve/promote membership building and retention.  No vote necessary.

Item 10: Other Business: A motion and second to donate $300 to the West Virginia Scenic Trails Association (WVSTA) to build a bridge across Beaver Creek in Watoga State Park.  PLEASE VOTE
