As part of the committee I support the spruce knob idea. I know it may not be perfect for our southerners, so maybe we can continue exploring options for the following year. 

 Nomination process suggestions seem to work.

I move we accept the Committee's recommended procedure for nominating incumbent and other Board of Directors positions and make this procedure our policy for future years.

AS for the the meeting place and cost, I recommend we have a cap for spending and go from there as to what we are able to do and where to go financially. I personally do not think limiting the budget to $500 for a weekend is ideal if you are including food, overnight, and porta johns. If the club has to spend $2,000 for an event we have it. Also, we paid for Blackwater Resort a few years back and I think we put some money into that meeting that was well spent.
