Thank you Andrew for constructing our WVMTR COVID-19 response statement:  https://wvmtr.org/2020/04/02/uncategorized/wvmtr-response-to-covid-19/

The next event that could possibly be affected would be our Annual Meeting 7/24-25.  I don't believe we are ready to make a decision as to the status of this event at this time.  Any further discussion?

Any further discussion regarding our COVID-19 response, next steps, or other?

I'd like to wait as long as possible to decide on the Annual Meeting in hopes that we can still have it.

I also suggest we wait until the last moment to cancel the Annual Meeting. Without a registration fee, we can wait until the last week without significant hassle.

I seem to recall that Dolin mentioned canceling the Monster 12 hr Run. Ashley can you confirm?

We should definitely be thinking next steps on how to operate events after the Governor starts to loosen restrictions. Such as event size limits, starting in waves, maintaining sanitized aid stations, limited gatherings pre-/post-race. Honestly, I completed a RRCA survey yesterday where they asked about such topics (that's where my ideas are coming from). Just because we'll be permitted to hold events doesn't mean that society is in the clear from COVID19.

I have not ordered the two portojons for the July weekend. We will have a better understanding by mid June and time to order them or cancel event.

The GRUSK, Gravel Race Up Spruce Knob two weeks prior on July 11 is still scheduled.

Monstrosity on Middleridge has been cancelled, yes. There are a handful of runners going to be out there anyway, but WVMTR will not be responsible for the activity.

I would love to have the annual meeting in person, as I am sure most of us would, but if you see fit to cancel now I understand. I also understand waiting and think with no funds involved other than porta johns at this moment we could afford to wait maybe 3 weeks and reevaluate.
