I believe that the time has come that we should again discuss our current WVMTR COVID Mitigation Plan: https://wvmtr.org/2021/01/26/uncategorized/wvmtr-race-preparedness-and-safety-planning-guide/

I believe that we need to augment and/or dissolve.  Please discuss.

I would be in favor of dissolving the policy.

If we choose to dissolve our current WVMTR Mitigation Plan, we will still need to keep communicable disease language in our race waiver for insurance/liability purposes.

I agree that we can dissolve the requirements.

A couple of items that I think should stay are

  • Requirement to sign the communicable disease waiver. I think we need this for insurance purposes.
  • Keep hand sanitizer at all aid-stations. This just seems like a reasonable item to carry.

I think a clean motion is:

- Dissolve Covid Mitigation Plan

- keep communicable disease language in our race waiver for insurance/liability purposes.

@daniel, I support that logic. Is there a second to Dan's motion?
