Is this something that we wish to continue? https://wvmtr.org/races/mountain-state-trail-run-series/

One obvious issue is that the award pint glasses that we used, are now obsolete with Haulin, Dirty Dog, Gritt's, and Canary listed.

Some needs to volunteer to maintain the standings.  It’s easy if the RDs upload there results properly into RSU.   Certainly there were people who were fans of the series.  It had value.   We might wait a season for our race schedule to stabilize.

@daniel, I agree with all your points.  I think we should take the series down from the website for this year and discuss again at the October e-meeting.  That would give us time to figure out the logistics and order new product.

I say we hand out the obsolete pint glasses to club members at upcoming events.

Let's take it down for now and see what the race agenda holds come December. Lord willing, the Sasquatch will hold!

With less races the whole thing needs to be revisited. The series is great, just needs to fit our current circumstances.

Good discussion.  No motion necessary, just wanted to establish a consensus.

I can adjust the content on the website to clarify that the 2022 series is on hold.

@asdolin I'll update the WVMTR website with the new Middle Ridge Monster info. I'm glad to see this occur again.
